How fast will I see results?
With our in-office professional teeth whitening treatment, you will see immediate results at the conclusion of your appointment.
How white can I get my teeth?
Results vary, although your teeth could brighten as much as eight shades whiter. However, the extent of your results depends on how dingy your teeth are to begin with and the natural mineral content of your teeth.
Does teeth whitening cause discomfort?
We use KöR Desensitizer to curb tooth sensitivity. Therefore, your teeth whitening procedure should not cause discomfort.
Does teeth whitening damage enamel?
The specially formulated Kör Whitening system does not incorporate the use of lasers or lights to accelerate the whitening solution. Plus, the initial in-office whitening treatment is administered by the dentist, taking care not to allow the solution to touch your gums. Therefore, KöR Whitening in Beaufort does not damage dental enamel. Unfortunately, store-bought whitening gels and strips do not have these same advantages and could damage your enamel with long-term use.
How long will my results last?
With the KöR Accelerated Maintenance program, your results will be permanent. For the first month, you should use your take-home whitening kit three nights, then two nights the second month, one night the next month, and then one night every other week for a month. After that, you should use your whitening kit once a month, indefinitely, to maintain lasting results from your treatment.
Do crowns, veneers, and other porcelain restorations respond to teeth whitening?
Porcelain restorations do not change color when subjected to teeth whitening treatments. If you plan on getting veneers or dental crowns in the near future, you should whiten your teeth first so that your restorations can be made using the whitest shade possible for your teeth.
Do I need to get my teeth cleaned before whitening?
For best results, we recommend having your teeth cleaned prior to teeth whitening. This way, any buildup can be removed so that the whitening solution can reach the entire tooth’s surface.
Is teeth whitening suitable for sensitive teeth?
Tooth sensitivity following teeth whitening may occur if you use store-bought products or opt for professional whitening that uses lasers or lights to activate the gel. However, KöR Whitening does not cause sensitive teeth, thanks to its specially formulated desensitizing component.
